Dried Pet Food

PDM Group's Nottingham site produces quality dried poultry proteins and liquid fat supplements from a range of ingredients sourced from UK poultry companies. The protein and liquid fats are supplied to pet food producers across the UK and Europe.

Poultry products handled at Nottingham undergo a high temperature sterilisation process which creates a dry protein and seperates the liquid fat.

The site has recently completed an extensive investment program to introduce the latest automated raw material unloading and handling equipment. Material is handled in accordance with the very latest strict guidelines issued by the Regulatory authorities.

In addition to producing dried pet food ingredients, the Nottingham site also has a dedicated poultry feather processing operation. Poultry feathers are processed using a system known as hydrolysis to produce a protein-rich meal for use in a wide variety of markets in the UK and overseas.
