PDM Group demonstrates national recycling services to the hospitality trade at Hotelympia 2008.

Hotelympia is one of the world's leading foodservice and hospitality shows and has been an integral part of the UK market for almost 75 years.

Hotelympia is a leading showcase of the widest range of new, cutting edge products and innovations, providing a uniquely social and dynamic environment.

PDM is using this year's Hotelympia to demonstrate the range of recycling and renewable energy services it has on offer for the Hospitality trade, including the use of food wastes to generate renewable power and the innovative 'Oilsense' used cooking oil management system.

PDM Group provides a ‘one-stop shop’ collection and recycling service for all food waste products and used cooking oils and fats arising from the hospitality sector.

Unused food products collected from restaurants, hotels and fast-food outlets are processed to manufacure bio-fuels and renewable energy.

Commercial Services Director Philip Simpson says, “The PDM Group has an expanding range of services on offer to the food service industry, and with the increasing interest we are receiving from this sector, Hotelympia is the ideal platform to showcase our innovations.”
